Sunny Days

It’s amazing how easy it is to take for granted a beautiful day, especially if you’re not stuck indoors. I never realized how often I did just that while living in L.A., until I moved back to the Midwest. Talk about an eye-opener. I didn’t see the sun for 3 months. UGH!

In that time period I developed a new-found appreciation for the symptoms of sunlight depravation. LOL! It didn’t take long to figure out a remedy for my malady…I moved.

So once again I find myself out West where sunshine filled days average out to be about 300 days a year. It sucks, but someone has to do it. Woo Hoo!

  1. Jordan, I can agree with you on this one. I’m in the midwest and in the -15 wind chill, and often times no sun. It is just dreary. But I could not handle the 100 degree plus sun of the west. Klop

  2. Absolutely heartbreaking. After several days of 1 and 2 degree weather, we’re having a heatwave of 24 degrees today. I really do not want to hear about 300 days of sunny weather.
