I’ve just spent the last six or so hours poring over Egyptian history. I have to tell you it was fascinating. I never realized how much was going on. Although I was disappointed to hear that they were fighting with the Palestinians way back when.
I guess some things never change.
I think research is one of the many perks of being a writer. You get to work on cool stories and study things that may have been covered while you were in school, but not in near the detail. I’m actually starting to get excited about all this research. I had heard other writers state that the research was their favorite part of working on a new project. I really never believed it until now.
I can almost hear my teaching saying, “I told you so.”
