My dh and I are about to make a lifestyle change. A dietary one to be exact. We’ve finally hit that point in our lives where nothing lives up to its memory. You know when you remember a specific food that had always been your favorite. So you decide to go out and order it or prepare the meal yourself, only to find you don’t enjoy it the way you used to.
Well that’s been happening to me at an alarming rate. Foods I used to love are just sitting so, so with me. I’m not sure what happened. Did my palate get more sophisticated in the middle of the night? Or did somewhere along the lines I just grow up and out of certain foods?
I really don’t have the answer. All I know is things have got to change. I’m tired of the same ol’ same ol’ and I’m especially tired of the way it makes me feel.
