Mom is Coming…

My mom has decided to come out for a visit, starting tomorrow. I truly cannot wait. We’re in the planning stage now for the plethora of activities we’re going to do. I’m not sure if we’ll get them all accomplished, but it’s always a blast to plan. The great thing is Atlantean’s Quest Bk. Two: Exodus is off to the proofers, so I really don’t have much to work on. I get to take a break and enjoy mom’s visit. You’re looking at one very happy Jordan.

I’ve Got My Tickets…

I can’t believe it, but our local theaters are showing Matrix Reloaded the night before its official release. My dh and I are so excited, we’re close to bursting. I know for some of you out there think the Matrix movie was ho-hum, but for the rest of us the movie was a mind blowing experience. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed for a repeat performance.

Finished for now…

I just finished another harsh round of edits for my vampire book, Gothic Passions. I never realized how hard trying to combine multiple genres could be until I wrote this book. I can honestly say that I will never try to do this again. Historical and vampire are a difficult combo, particularly if you’ve never tried to write either. I realized there’s no sense in kicking myself, what’s done is done. I just hope that I walk away from this experience with a newfound sense of pride over what can be done by sheer determination.

X-Men…X-Oh…

I went to see X-Men the other day and although it wasn’t a bad movie, I’d hoped for much more. The budget seemed bigger, the actors were into their roles, but for some reason the ball got dropped. I can’t figure out if it was the pacing of the story or the fact more questions were asked than answered. I didn’t expect to find everything out in this movie, but I left feeling a tad let down. All I can say is it’s a good thing the Matrix Reloaded is coming out next week.

Wow! The Arrival Got a 5 Rose Review…

I just received the most wonderful news about my book Atlantean’s Quest Bk. One: The Arrival, the Romance Review gave it a five rose review. I’m truly thrilled. It’s nice to start and certainly how I’d like to proceed forward.

I’d also like to send out a very Happy Birthday wish for my editor Bree.
