Today dh and I ventured out to meet friends for lunch. It turned out our friend Steve was celebrating his birthday. (Happy Birthday, Steve!) After having a lovely meal we ventured over to the theater to see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. There were fifteen of us, which made the experience much more enjoyable. I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out what I thought about the movie. It wasn’t as enjoyable as Pirate’s of the Caribbean, but it had its good points, namely Sean Connery and Stuart Townsend. There is just something about those two men that screams sex. LOL! Unfortunately, hormones aside, their appeal wasn’t enough to save the movie. It wasn’t a bad movie, but it was a B movie, which left me feeling somewhat disappointed.
Just stopped by to check out your site. I had a great time talking with you at the Steve’s party. I did manage to play ball for about an hour. HOT! Then stopped for a rest and just didn’t have the drive to get up and play more.
Movie:
I found it difficult to focus on the action. The scenes seemed more like clips or pages from a comic that were being flip quickly. Overall, I did like the movie.
