Lately in many of the groups I belong to there has been an enormous amount of talk concerning fetishes and bondage. It has ran the gambit from the people who are heavily into to the latter and those just curious. I actually find it fascinating. I’ve never had a fetish. I mean, I like shoes, but in no way do they do anything for me sexually. I think it’s more of a spiritual thing for me.LOL!
I went to Amsterdam a couple of years ago and was floored by the open acceptance of fetishes and alternative lifestyles. After a week there nothing, and I mean NOTHING fazes you. Between the legal prostitution, which I agree with, and the various cinemas and live shows nothing is out of bounds. The strange thing is they have one of the lowest, if not the lowest teenage pregnancy and sexual assault rates. Makes you wonder if things weren’t so taboo here if our crime and pregnancy rates would go down..?
