My dh and I have made a list of places we’d like to check out to see if we would like to live there. This past week we went to a conference in San Diego, which just happens to be one of the cities on our list.
The weather was devine, the scenery magnificient, and the people fairly friendly. Unfortunately all those fabulous qualities were not enough to make us want to pick up house and move.
Right about now you’re probably asking yourself if it was so fantastic why not keep it in the running. Well the truth is it was a nice place, but exceedingly expensive. I lived on the west coast for eight years, so I’m used to the expense of living in California. This put my original experience to shame. In the downtown areas, which were really nice by the way, the average one bedroom was selling for about $450,000. This would get you a great view, but the view wasn’t that great. (If you know what I mean.
