Today the world lost one of its brightest stars. Donald O’Connor, from Singing in the Rain fame, died last night at his home in California. He was seventy-eight in years, but not in spirit.
Allegedly his last words were, “I’d like to thank the academy for this honorary lifetime achievement award.” LOL! In the end, the words to his most famous song rang true…make em’ laugh.
Goodbye Mr. O’Connor and thank you for making me and the world laugh for so many years. You’ll be missed.
I think you are doing a great job and don’t let the sun or lack of get you down. Many people live were the sun is a rare and scary thing. I know this book store thing is a great job for you, talk to people and tell them what to read I think your in heaven. NP
