One thing I do not have too much of as of late. Growing up I never was a particularly patient person and to be honest, not much has changed. I have an extremely difficult time waiting for things I deem important, whether it’s news from the doctor, notification from a publisher, or hearing about a new job.
The act of waiting feels like a giant raptor has sunk its talons deep within my abdomen and is slowly pulling my entrails out inch by agonizing inch. Like I said, I hate to wait.

I know what you mean! Are you waiting on the novella for Brava? I loved your entry on Lori’s site. I hope you hear soon.
by Risa January 13th, 2004 at 9:45 amThanks Risa! I am waiting to hear from Kensington/Brava. I have no idea how long it will take. At this point, I figure no news is good news.
I’ll keep you posted. Best, Jordan

by Sam January 13th, 2004 at 11:25 pmJust popped in to tell you Kate D. has been in England all this time and just got back. So your wait should soon be over. Or at least you now know she’s back at her desk.

Thanks Sam! I knew I could count on you to make me nervous. LOL!
