SUPERNATURAL ♦ URBAN FANTASY ♦ CONTEMPORARY/SUSPENSE ♦ EROTIC ROMANCE

Werewolves, Werewolves, come out to play…

I was thinking about the paranormal genre. I know that it includes far more than vampires and werewolves, but those are the two I’m discussing today. The thing that I was thinking about is how readers tend to fall into two different camps, that includes publishers, they either like vampires or werewolves. Not many like both. Why?

If I had to guess I’d say not liking werewolves has to do with the hint of taboo surrounding beastiality. (Not that the love stories concocted tend to cross that line.) Well I guess some do, but not the ones I read or write.

I happen to love both creatures in my paranormal stories, but I must say I favor werewolves. I know this is because I love wolves so much. They are loyal, highly intelligent, caring, and beautiful. What’s not to love?

I guess in the end it boils down to what your fantasy is, Stuart Townshend or Hugh Jackman. LOL!

  2. Brandy,
That baby can’t be six months old already. My goodness, where has the time gone? :-) I’m glad you enjoy paranormals of all kinds. I do too. I know there are readers out there that don’t cross the vampire werewolf line. I’m trying to figure out how I can get them to do so. ;-) Thanks for stopping in. Jordan

  3. I will have to send you a picture of her she is getting so big. I figure since she was born while I was in the middle of your books litterally it is only fitting. :0)~
I keep telling my husband that with the type of parents we are, she will be the most open minded child in the world or the most confused. Hopefully it is the 1st…Have a great begining of the new year. I can’t wait for a new book of your to read.

  4. Brandy, I can’t wait to see her. I’m sure she’ll be a well-rounded individual. :-) Jordan, who is trying to get some writing done…

  5. By writing with your usual fantastic style of course. I wish I had your talent.*sigh* You could tell the life story about a loaf of bread and make me like it.LOL

I love anything paranormal. I’ve always said Steven King could scare the beegeebers out of me with a piece of macaroni if he set his mind to it.

I think with all your stories your humor is what makes them great. So go with your humor to get them to like your werewolf.( well besides making him every woman’s fantasy. LOL)

  6. Sam,

Have I mentioned how much I love you? LOL! Thanks for all your encouragement and the vote of confidence. You’re priceless. Jordan
