I spent my Saturday at the movies and managed to squeeze in a visit to the bookstore to boot. Truly my idea of a perfect Saturday. First dh and I went to see Hellboy. I’m not familiar with the comic, so I am not sure if it followed a particular storyline. I know boo, hiss, boo. It was a fairly enjoyable film, not as good as I’d hoped, but enjoyable. Next up was Scooby Doo 2. Yes, I know the stories are hokey and there are much better animation movies out there. It doesn’t matter one iota to this gal. Personally I enjoyed Scooby Doo 2. I left the movie feeling good and isn’t that what movies are all about?

I loved the 1st Scooby Doo!!! I haven’t had a chance to see the second one yet…but I’m right with ya on the feel good factor. It’s the most important thing!
by Sasha April 5th, 2004 at 2:09 pmI never saw the first Scooby movie but my girls did and now they’re eager to go see #2. I took them on Friday to see Walking Tall…The Rock…talk about yummy!
by Mad April 5th, 2004 at 3:36 pmI’m going to go see Walking Tall. No doubt. The eye candy alone is worth every penny. As for Scooby, it’s like I said before, you leave the movie feeling good and smiling.
by Jordan April 5th, 2004 at 5:00 pmI was just on Lori Foster’s message board. *g* and saw that you asked about HIDALGO. I couldn’t post on there but I thought you should know. I saw it, and enjoyed it. Viggo is always good, and I’m a sucker for underdog stories…especially ones based on true experiences.
by Sasha April 6th, 2004 at 11:03 pmThanks Sasha! I’m a sucker for horses, so I’m sure I’d enjoy it. Viggo being in it doesn’t hurt either.
