Harry Potter was a fun ride of a movie. I wish they would have explored more of the emotional aspects of the character’s long journey, but then the movie would’ve probably been three hours long. It will certainly not disappoint any Potter fan.
Today is my uncle’s birthday. I mention this for two reasons. The first is to honor him on this day. The second is to mention how easy it is to lose touch. It’s been a while since I’ve written or phoned him. I called today to wish him a Happy Birthday only to find out that his phone number had been changed. When I inquired about the number change I found out he’d moved. I hadn’t heard a word and wouldn’t have known if I had not phoned today.
It’s so easy to lose touch with people. Everyone is busy with their own life, their own families, etc. It simply reminded me again that you have to make time for the people who matter in your life.

We’re going to see HP next week — the girls are very excited about it. As for your uncle, I’ve had the same thing happen to me. One of my uncles got into a disagreement with my mom (she’s his oldest sister) and aunt (one of his younger sisters) so now he’s changed his home and cell numbers and it took me a week to track the man down to give him a piece of my mind *G* since we (my siblings and I) had done nothing for him to stop talking to us.
