Today is my 6th year anniversary. I honestly cannot believe it’s been six years since my dh and I stood in Pecos National Monument and exchanged vows. It seems like yesterday we had family and friends from all over the world converge to bear witness. I know everyone thinks their wedding is magical, but ours truly was.
From the wild butterflies appearing out of nowhere after the ones I ordered didn’t show up. To the winds that swept the gatherers when the minister welcomed the spirits of our dearly departed relatives to join in the festivities.
Sounds a little woo woo, doesn’t it? It was and it wasn’t.
We had a Scottish/Native American ceremony, which despite thoughts to the contrary blended well. Having all those handsome men in kilts standing around me, didn’t hurt.
