Wasting Time

I think today is going to be a ‘waste time’ kind of day. It’s already noon, Mozart lunch is on the radio, and I haven’t done a thing beyond drink a cup of coffee and have a protein bar. Sigh. I should be writing or reading about writing or writing or discussing writing or writing. You get the picture. I’ve been like this the past two days. I don’t know if it’s due to the diet change, exercise, or what. I hope I snap out of it soon. I’m just not sure what I need to do to bring the ‘joy’ back into the writing. Any suggestions?

  1. Maybe you need to take a deliberate day off from all things writing? I find I need to do this quite often or I start to not enjoy my writing, or anything to do with it. A full day or two away is better, mentally, and productively, than a week of halfhearted effort. Take a day, Jordan. Eat some cheescake! 😉

  2. I’m going to take the weekend off, so hopefully that will work. I did end up writing a little today. Not much, but it’s better than nothing. I made my weekly goal, so I’m happy. 🙂 As for the cheesecake, I wish. Unfortunately, it would have to be low carb to fit into our current diet.
And what’s the fun in that. LOL! Have a great weekend.

  3. I have a great low-carb cheescake recipe that is to-die-for, if you’re interested. Cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, swirls of chocolate, with a butter almond crust. Yummy!!! Let me know if you’re interested! 😉

  4. Yes, please. It sounds wonderful.
