I know it's hard, I struggle too, but I find if I sit myself down and tell myself I have only 5 or 10 or 15 minutes to write, and I can't stop during that time, something in my brian kicks in, (or turns off) and I end up with words on the screen. They might not even be the words I keep, but it's a start, and thats often what I need. I say Just Do It!. I've got a wip where I just don't know the full story yet, but I do have certain scenes in my head, so when I get stuck, I write one of those scenes. Like Cece, I hate not writing linear, but doing so sometimes gets the juices flowing. I also go to bed and just think. Sometimes in the middle of the afternoon. I crawl into bed and just...think. I've had the hardest time getting back to my WIP and just did what I suggested to Jordan. That's part of the reason I hate taking time off from a WIP. That way, I have a clear picture in my head of what I expect to see happen in this story, and I don't get caught in a slump because sitting before the computer makes me blank out.
