Down to the last two

Well we’re down to the last two days of the Write or Die month. I think I’ve slipped and fell into the latter category, since there’s little chance of me meeting my monthly goal.:-/

I’m bothered by this, but there’s not much I can do. I had to go back and fix a couple of things in both manuscripts in order to continue forward. I’m going to write as much as I can. With any luck, I’ll miss my goal by ten pages, which isn’t too bad.

  1. Don’t give up have until midnight tomorrow.!

  2. Thanks Sasha! Unfortunately, I have a meeting tomorrow night. So the daytime will be all I can afford to put toward the writing. I’m going to try to hit the mark. I haven’t given up, just trying to be realistic. I figure I’m still in pretty good shape considering I wanted to write 90 pages and have written 120. 😉

  3. Wow, Jordan! I still think you did great! I got 88 done, but that’s 92 pages short of my goal, so I’m WAY out of luck! Sigh. Oh, well. I still managed to get more done than I would have if I hadn’t tried!

So congrats on what you’ve managed to get done!

  4. Thanks Larissa! I agree. This Write or Die month has been very good for me on all fronts. I hadn’t been getting much accomplished up until this point. I wrote another 12 pages tonight, so I’m sitting at 75 pages on the contemporary and 59 on the paranormal. Forty five more pages and I’ll have two completed partials. (And that’s only if I send in 90 pages each.) I’m seriously considering continuing on for the next three weeks. I think you should be really proud of your 88 pages that you finished. That’s nothing to sneeze at. Keep up the good work.
