I know it’s pathetic, but I’m so excited about the upcoming fall television schedule. If you hadn’t noticed there is a plethora of sci-fi and paranormal shows coming on. I have my fingers crossed that at least half are good. I’d love to have a week of cool shows I can tape. (I rarely watch shows while they’re playing because I like to skip the commercials.)
For all you TV addicts out there, is there a particular show you’re looking forward to?
September 14th, 2005

Well, over here in the UK, Season Three of Law and Order Criminal Intent starts on the Hallmark Channel tonight… and I’m so excited I can’t sit still! VDO/Bobby Goren is my *obsession*!
by Wendywoo September 15th, 2005 at 4:23 amSURVIVOR!!!! I can’t wait! I’m a reality show junkie. Everyone says I’m pathetic, but I don’t care. Can’t wait! Can’t wait!

by Nancy Henderson September 15th, 2005 at 9:39 amWendy, I believe the new season for L & O: CI starts here this Sunday.
It’s bringing in the new guy (Chris Noth) to give Vincent a bit of a break. He’ll do have the shows and Chris will do half the shows.
by Jordan September 15th, 2005 at 11:47 amNancy, I understand. I have friends waiting for the new American Idol to start. (wg)
by Jordan September 15th, 2005 at 11:48 amWe’re two seasons behind over here with L&OCI! Yes, had heard Vincent and Chris Noth were alternating on the latest series. Naturally, I’d prefer it if it were *all* Vinnie, but I do understand the reasoning. I always liked Chris Noth in SATC, so I’m sure he’ll do a good job, and I’ll enjoy his weeks… albeit in a slightly less frenzied way!
by Wendywoo September 15th, 2005 at 12:08 pmWendy, Chris was good on the original Law and Order. (That’s where he started out.) I think he’ll do a good job, but you’re right it won’t be quite as good as having Vincent the whole time.
by Jordan September 15th, 2005 at 12:14 pmI have NO idea what shows are coming up, but I just heard there’s a Val Kilmer/Christian Slater movie coming out. : D
by Charlene September 15th, 2005 at 1:56 pmMy favorite show is LOST i absolutely love it.
by Reema September 15th, 2005 at 2:39 pmCharlene, I hadn’t heard that.
by Jordan Summers September 15th, 2005 at 2:50 pmReema, I love Lost too. It’s one of the best paranormal shows on television right now. I’d taped the whole first season and watched all the episodes over the past few days. It definitely got me back in the mood for the show. I can’t wait for the new season to start next week.
by Jordan September 15th, 2005 at 2:52 pmI missed supernatural (damn kids)…..Um Alias, CSI (vegas), LAO esp SVU, Crossing Jordan, NCIS and and and ….I’m sure I forgot something.
by Cece September 16th, 2005 at 8:30 amCece, Apparently, they’re changing CSI NY to make it more ‘watchable’.
by Jordan September 16th, 2005 at 11:27 amWell, I’m excited but not about the paranormal/Sci Fi shows.
Let’s see, I think Lost gets my highest excitement factor vote. I’m also a big fan of The West Wing, Desperate Housewives, and Smallville, so those are generating some big time thrills.
I’m also anticipating the new E-Ring because I love military shows (I fell in love with Over There this summer), but we’ll see how that pans out.
I just love September!
by Lynn M September 16th, 2005 at 2:15 pmI loooove Chris Noth - I’m so looking forward to seeing him on TV again. I liked Bones okay, am looking forward to Surface. I’d love to see E-Ring, but I think it’s opposite Lost. And I want to know what’s going to happen on Alias!
by Mary September 17th, 2005 at 3:24 amI watched the encore of Bones last night–very interesting. I’ll have to watch it again cuz I’m not sure what I think of it. Also caught Reunion–VERY interesting and an original concept (at least to me)!!! I really liked it. I can see what they’re doing–it starts in 1986 (yeah Madonna hair!) and I think you have to watch every episode to find out who the killer is (one episode covers one year).
by Cece September 17th, 2005 at 7:33 amLynn, I’m looking forward to NCIS. Love some of those military shows.
by Jordan September 17th, 2005 at 11:30 amMary, I’m looking forward to Noth on L & O: CI and Surface. I hope they’re pretty good.
by Jordan September 17th, 2005 at 11:31 amCece, I heard that Reunion was pretty interesting. They’re definitely trying something cutting edge for television. Like you, I’m still not sure what I think of Bones. I’m going to watch it one more time to see if I like it any better, if not, I probably won’t tape that show.
