I did it! Not exactly how I’d planned, but I did it! I finished the first draft of the Blaze manuscript. Yippee!!! Yahoo!!! I feel like Daffy Duck when he bounces off the walls. I ended up writing 8525 words today. It’s a personal best for me. I was tempted to try to squeeze out 475 more, so that I’d reach 9K, but I smacked myself down before I could go for it. (Yes, I’m that obsessed with numbers when I write.)
I figured out that this week alone I’ve written over 20K. My brain hurts from all the thinking. There are four days left of November. For those participating in the NaNo (officially and unofficially), keep at it. You never know what a difference a day can make. 
That’s wonderful, Jordan! Congratulations. Now, um, since you’re done, could you come over and finish my first draft? Please?

At least you made it over the 500 hump and didn’t end up under it. LOL. Good luck with sending it to HQ!!!!

Some days I could weep because I’m so desperate to get to that last part. Once I do, I feel as if I’m done. Good job on getting those 9,000 (you were close enough to call it 9,000) words out!
