Back to the Gym

Yep, now that I’ve finished gorging myself it’s time to get back to the gym. I’ve been going steadily (3 days a week) since I joined at the end of November. I definitely have more energy, even if I’m not losing any weight.

I’m actually looking forward to going back to a cleaner diet. I don’t know about you all, but the massive amount of food is starting to get old. :-/ I mean it tastes great, but after a while you’re like enough already.

I’m currently waiting for my critique partner to get me the Blaze back. (she’s almost done) It looks like I’ll manage to make my schedule for mailing it in. (I want it in the mail by the end of the first week of Jan.) I have one more book to edit after that, then it’s onto new projects (or perhaps old ones in my case). I haven’t decided yet.

Today, I’m going to kick back and watch DVDs and read the new book my brother sent me called Gecko by Jack Priest. I may work a little later. I’d like to take a look at a story I started and see if I’m still pleased with what I’ve written.

How are you spending the rest of this week?

  1. I’m spending the rest of my week…working! Sad, but true. Lots to catch up on. 🙂 Then I’ll enjoy my New Year’s Eve! What are you doing for New Year’s eve?

  2. Patrice, I stay home. I always joke that we don’t go out on New Year’s Eve because the amateurs are out that night. 😉

  3. Yay on meeting the schedule!

It’s back to work for me, and writing. LOL Also back to the gym. Same ol same ol! 🙂

  4. More congrats on making the schedule. And for having the good sense to stay home on New Year’s Eve, lol!

This week, I’m trying to get back into a writing groove. Maybe I’ll make it by New Year’s day.

I’ll also be busy fervently watching the news for updates on the huge agent/editor-eating sinkhole that opened up in the middle of New York City. I figure that’ll explain why I ain’t heard from anybody in months…

  5. Sasha, I hear you. 🙂

  6. Raine, LOL! Let me know if you find that coverage. *ggg*

  7. I have to work this week….but I took off last week. Getting everything off the old computer and onto the new one is giving me fits but NO DAMN MACHINE IS GONNA GET THE BEST OF ME!!!!!!!

Raine….lemme know about that sinkhole 😉

  8. Working! Like Patrice, I’ve got catching up to do. LOTS of it. Have to shove those Vikings out the door for good, too. And the husband and I have started up our walking/hiking schedule again.

  9. Struggling to get back to work! (ouch)

  10. Cece, Show it who’s boss. (jab, right, left)*g*

  11. Charlene, Hiking sounds good. I have to get a bit more organized work wise, but other than that, I’m doing okay.

  12. Amy, Hang in there. 🙂

  13. Went back to work today. ugh. But Friday is a half day, and I decided to take all of next week off!! (Yay meeeee!!! ) Hopefully I’ll get some writing done. 😛

  14. Way to work it, Jaq!!! Have a great week next week.

  15. I had to work this week, only 3 days but when you really don’t want to work…you’d rather be home in bed or curled up on the couch watching movies. Yep, that’s me. I started back on my workout routine too. I am sick of that lingering ten pounds….

  16. Shannon, I hear you on wanting to stay home. I’m sick of the lingering 50 extra lbs. that I’m toting around.
