Been Away

Sorry I’ve been away all day. I’ve had one of those mondo productive cleaning days. (Yes, I said cleaning, so stop your laughing.) Dh and I painted the wall in our living room. We were feeling saucy so we did two different colors. It actually works. (Yes, I’m surprised. *g*) I also cleaned out the closet in our spare bedroom and then went through my clothes in the master closet to get rid of the ones that don’t fit. &$#@! Enough said.

I also wrote the agenda to the talk I’m giving at the Desert Dreams Conference in April. I didn’t manage to get my desk cleaned, but I hope to accomplish that tomorrow after I go to the gym.

I’m strangely energized and no, it’s not from the sale even though that’s lovely. I really feel like getting super organized. We’re going room by room in our house, arranging them like we’ve always wanted. It’s a slow process, but one we should’ve started long ago. Dh is doing the final read of the Blaze and then it’s in the mail on Thursday, along with the cookie tins my sister insists I send back. *g*

I also spent time on the EC chat list. I haven’t done that it quite a while because frankly, the list intimidates me. I actually had fun. I hope they enjoyed my excerpt, since Atlantean’s Quest Bk. Four: Return comes out tomorrow.

How was your day?

Sold!

My Ellora’s Cave editor wrote me today to let me know that I’ve made a couple of short Quickie length sales. (One may turn into a novella, but I’m not sure yet.) So the Phantom Warriors will hit the internet this year. Yah! I’m having a lot of fun with these guys. That will bring my 2006 releases up to three, not counting my three paperbacks. :-)

Welcome 2006!!!

I am glad the New Year is here, not that I had a bad 2005. I really didn’t. It was a year of lessons. Some of which, I wish I could’ve done without, but oh well. *g* Live and learn.

I’ve decided that this year I’m going to focus more on living, laughing and loving and less time on pondering and worrying. I think somebody else should worry this year.*ggg* I’ve done enough to last several lifetimes.

Today, I’m putting together a list of what I need to get accomplished this week. (Part will probably spill into next week, but I’m going to try to finish everything.) I’m feeling the need to cleanse my surroundings. There’s too much accumulated clutter that needs to go. But first, I have to finish editing my manuscript. Grr…

What are your plans for the week?
