Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

Okay, I know, I know, this movie is geared to the adolescent boy in all of us, but I have to admit, it was pretty fun. There isn’t much of a story (Troubled boy goes to live with father where he learns responsibility via the Japanese mafia. He also strangely understands quite a bit of Japanese, which is impressive considering his mud-deep southern accent.) beyond the thrill of fast cars, but the action is non-stop and keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you want an hour and a half of mind candy, this movie is for you. 😀

  1. My only question is…was there any Hawt Japanese men I could ogle? That would be the only reason I would go see this movie. I went to the first one because of Vin…the second I skipped…

  2. Sorry….I’ve been double posting everything lately!!!

  3. Vivi, Then you would be in heaven. There are hot Japanese guys and a special guest appearance…(wg)

  4. Okay, if Vin is in….I’m going!!!!!

  5. Lord…first thing I thought of when I saw your heading was that there’d been some serious sliding in the continental drift, and Tokyo had suffered some tremendous earthquake…

(Raine, seriously in need of a vacation…)

  6. I haven’t seen an adult movie in so long I forget what popcorn tastes like.

  7. Ya mean I’m not the only chickie who likes the F&F trilogy? Haven’t seen Tokyo…but I’m sure I can talk the DH into going. I owe him one after making him see The Breakup. 🙂

  9. Sorry for the double post. I’m apparently an idiot today. 🙁

  10. At this rate, I might make it to a movie by August …

I’m not into this series – but the SIL liked the first couple.

  11. Raine, You REALLY do need a vacation. (wg)

  12. Jill, You forget the taste of popcorn??? Snort, I don’t believe it. 😉

  13. Kristi, No worries. This is the only one of the movies that I’ve seen, so I have no comparison to base my opinion on. My guess is if you liked the first two, you’ll enjoy this one. 😀

  14. Bailey, Like I told Kristi, I’ve actually never seen the first two movies. The only reason I went to this one is to see the city of Tokyo. (wg)

  15. I’m not sure who wasnts to see this more–me or the kids *ggg*

  16. Cece, LOL! Sometimes it’s like that. 😉
