I’m tired today. I went to get my hair done. I think it turned out pretty well. The color is certainly a heck of a lot better. *ggg*
Picked up a few ebooks when I got back. I grabbed Immortalis by Nathalie Gray, Heated Fantasies by Elizabeth Lapthorne, Enforcer by Lauren Dane, Love Partner by Robie Madison, and Planet Mail by Kate Pearce. I finished Enforcer and really enjoyed it. I’m currently reading Love Partner and so far so good.
Anyone read any good ebooks lately?
July 19th, 2006

Only my own stuff, which I’m re-editing/formatting. Boring, as I already know how they end.
I’ve got Shannon Stacey’s “72 Hours” and Summer Devon’s (aka Kate Rothwell) “Invisible Touch” to read, as soon as I print them out and slip them into binders.
by PBW July 19th, 2006 at 6:16 pmPBW, I’m doing some of that editing stuff myself tomorrow.
I figure if I get it out of the way it may save me time later. Let me know what you think of 72 Hours and Invisible Touch.
by Jordan July 19th, 2006 at 9:20 pmI enjoyed Enforcer. At the moment I’m reading Details of the Hunt by Laura Baumbach. Finding time to read is the hardest thing!
by Shelley July 20th, 2006 at 2:25 amHaven’t read an eBook in a few months. I’m currently reading ‘The Devil Wore Prada’. I had a book signing this weekend and the cover kept starting at me, so I ended up buying it. Only a few chapters in though.
by Tina Gerow July 20th, 2006 at 8:03 amShelley, If I didn’t have my ebook reader, I wouldn’t be getting any reading done. Period. It’s sad. I need to make more time for reading.
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 10:34 amTina, That’s cool. I think I’m going to go see the movie, when I get back from Nationals. (wg)
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 10:35 amI read Jory Strong’s Kiziah’s Reading. Really hot one! But not for the faint of heart. If you don’t mind gay sex mixed with heterosexual sex, then this is a very good read. Mia Romano’s Burnin’ Down Nash Vegas is really good too, and so is A.L. Debran’s Lonely Places. I just bought a new vampire romance from L. Rosario’s Blood Ritual (from a new epublisher Wild Rose Press). Can’t wait to read it!
by Tempest Knight July 20th, 2006 at 12:12 pmI haven’t read e-books. Shame on me, I know. But I am going to give them a try VERY soon.
by Jill July 20th, 2006 at 12:12 pmTempest, I thought about picking up that Jory Strong book, but part of the love storyline bothered me. I knew I wouldn’t be able to give it a fair shake. Let me know what you think of the new vamp story. I’m always on the lookout for a good vamp read.
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 12:46 pmJill, You’re as bad as I am with my paperbacks. *ggg*
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 12:47 pmOkay I’ll let you know about Rituals of Blood, Jordan. Meanwhile, how about starting with my vamp story, Enduring Promise? Now how’s that for extremely blatant and shameless self-promo? Tempest, bad girl! *rofl* I’m in all-time high today. Too many good news hitting me at once. hehehe! Sorry…
by Tempest Knight July 20th, 2006 at 1:10 pmI read “Ritual of Blood” and liked it. It was pretty good. I also read “Cup of Fate” by Cassandra Curtis and “Kierra’s Thread” Adrianna Dane. Great stories but they aren’t about vampires. Sorry about that. “The Claiming” by Sherrill Quinn is pretty good, and it’s a vampire erotic romance. I bought “Enduring Promise.” It’s in my TBR disk.
by Krystel July 20th, 2006 at 1:27 pmHi Jordan! Love your site! I’d never read an ebook before. I admit that I prefer books. But a friend of mine recommended me one of yours, “Gothic Passions.” I finished reading it yesterday. I was great! Now I can’t wait to download your other ebooks and read them.
by Rocio July 20th, 2006 at 5:38 pmTempest, *ggg* No worries. I’ll definitely check your story out.
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 7:24 pmKrystel, Thanks for the book recommendations.
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 7:25 pmThanks Rocio! I’m glad you like the site and the book. It’s one of my favorites.
I hope you like the other books.
by Jordan July 20th, 2006 at 7:27 pmHi Jordan!
by Kate Pearce July 21st, 2006 at 8:15 pmThanks for picKing up my book ‘Planet Mail’-I hope you enjoy it!
I just got my hair done pre Atlanta and my hairdresser was in chatty mode and cut off at least 4 inches which left it a bit shorter than I had imagined-shriek!
Kate
Yes, I got into the world of e-books today. I umm downloaded all your Atlantean books FINALLY! I’m so excited to read them, once I get my homework done. *bg* Gotta have some company from a few Atlantean males since mine is out of town this weekend.
by Shannon July 22nd, 2006 at 11:28 amKate, Yikes on the hair! :-O I’m sure it still looks good.
I started your book last and I’m enjoying it thus far. I finished Love Partner. Thought it was a good read. I’ll definitely look for more books from Lauren Dane and Robie Madison in the future. See you at Nationals.
by Jordan July 22nd, 2006 at 11:49 amShannon, Thank you! I hope you enjoy the Atlanteans.
Good luck with your homework.
by Jordan July 22nd, 2006 at 11:50 amWow, thanks and I’m glad you enjoyed Enforcer!
I’m getting ready to go on a series of road trip vacations and I’ve got my laptop filled with books I’ve been waiting to read but haven’t had time for yet - TJ Michaels’ Primed to Pounce, Anya Bast’s Tempted By Two, Rene Lyon’s Midnight Sun and Beth Williamson’s The Treasure (I loved the other Mallory books)
I really loved 72 Hours and Megan Hart’s Bachelor #4.
by Lauren July 24th, 2006 at 2:51 pmYou’re welcome, Lauren. I’d heard a lot about your Enforcer book. It was as good as people said. I’ve also heard a lot about 72 hours. I’ll have to check it out when I get home.
