Friends are Off

Our friends left this morning after a wonderful visit. We crammed a lot into the past ten days. I think I’m going to need a week to recover. *ggg* I’m reading through my revision letter and trying to figure out the best way to tackle the edits. Some of the things pointed out are obvious items that I need to work on, not just for this manuscript, but as a writer. Other things I’m a tad confused over and need clarification on before I can even think about touching them. The manuscript may have to wait until I finish my urban fantasy. Sigh. I need to speak with my agent.

  1. Ugh–sounds like you’ve got a whole lot going on. Extensive revisions, eek…but you can do it. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. Just think, in a few weeks this’ll all be behind you…

  3. Hmm, sorry ’bout the double post. I forgot to sign the first one and then everything just went awry. Well, double the good wishes, I guess. 🙂

  4. No worries, Catherine. 🙂 Thanks for the good wishes. It’s going to take a hell of a lot more time than a few weeks to get everything done. 🙁

  5. Best of luck with the edits, Jordan! If they’ve requested rewrites, at least you know they’re definitely interested. Just don’t sacrifice TOO much.

  6. Beats boredom, eh? Agents are good for this sort of thing.

  7. Um, I managed to delete my name except for first initial. Sigh. More coffee!

  8. Raine, They didn’t request rewrites that’s just what it’s going to take to accomplish the changes they do want. *g* This will be the second time I’ve rewritten a chunk of this book. I suppose I should chalk it up to a learning experience. *ggg*

  9. Charli, Who said I was bored??? LOL!
