My dh and I went to this cool place yesterday. I know it’s going to sound weird, but I can’t say enough good things about this place. I don’t know about you all, but to say I run out of ideas for dinner is an understatement. Like most people, we have about four things that we rotate over and over again until we’re sick to death of them. On top of that, I tend to go to the grocery store and spend two hundred dollars without buying any meals. It’s a gift…NOT! That’s what made finding Entrees Made Easy so great.
This place allows you to put together twelve meals from a menu that changes monthly. An example of some of the meals we took home are: London Broil, Stuffed Pork Loin, Brandywine Chicken, Herbed Shrimp, Baked Spaghetti, Mexican Quiche, Creamy Penne with Chicken and Mushrooms, etc.) These meals are not cooked. Instead, you get the meat (which is high quality cuts) and all the ingredients needed to complete the recipes hanging above each station. You put them together, they clean up the mess, and you take them home to the freezer. You pop them in the oven, when you’re ready to eat. It’s a win-win. The best part is that twelve dinners for two people only costs $130.00. How great is that? We’re so happy with the quality that we’re going to keep signing up. It’s going to save us a fortune. Another great thing is that the franchises are beginning to spread across the states, so there may be one near you soon. ![]()

Anything that involves saving time and effort works for me! I visited the site–the selections sound yummy. But I checked…so far, no franchises in my state.
by raine October 2nd, 2006 at 8:36 amRaine, I think it’s only a matter of time. Seriously. With as many franchises as they have getting ready to open up, it’ll spread fast. It really is a good value and wonderful food. The best thing is I told dh last night that it almost feels like we’re eating out every night now. *ggg*
by Jordan October 2nd, 2006 at 8:52 amMy Samhain editor did this recently, too. I don’t see one popping up near us, but Costco serves much the same function. Except for the part where somebody else cleans up the mess.
by Charlene Teglia October 2nd, 2006 at 9:35 amHeh! No wonder I’ve never heard of the place. Sounds like a cool place. I’m so lazy and get home so late at night, all I want is something simple to pop on the microwave and that’s that.
by Tempest Knight October 2nd, 2006 at 9:41 amWe have some of those around here but different name =(
by Cece October 2nd, 2006 at 9:52 amHI JORDAN..I have seen these places and have been considering it–I think I am going to give it a try after your reccomendation! Sounds like SOOO much less work, spending, etc. I always buy MAGAZINEs whenever I am in the grocery, plus a little make up, some cute napkins, bubble bath, you get the picture.I think I would save a lot of money with a meal makers plan!
by Madeline October 2nd, 2006 at 11:28 amCharli, It’s not quite the same, but it’s close.
I do LOVE not having to clean up the kitchen afterwards.
by Jordan October 2nd, 2006 at 12:24 pmTempest, That’s why I love this place. I’m so lazy that all I want to do is pop something in the oven.
by Jordan October 2nd, 2006 at 12:25 pmCece, You brought up a point I meant to tell everyone. There are several companies that do this, so google the area you live in for the business nearest you.
by Jordan October 2nd, 2006 at 12:26 pmMaddie, You are going to be pleasantly surprised. Seriously.
by Jordan October 2nd, 2006 at 12:27 pmOkay, this place I need to find immediately.
by Jill October 4th, 2006 at 5:52 pmJill, There are places like this across the country. You just need to google to see if there’s one in your area. They do sell ‘family’ sized meals too.
