I just looked at how many books I want that are coming out in April and May. Yikes! I’m not even going to talk about the ones that have been recently released that I’d like to buy *cough* Heart-shaped Box & Wicked Ties *cough*. Here’s the ’short’ list: Demon You Know by Christine Warren, Virtually His by Gennita Low, Hunters: Heart and Soul by Shiloh Walker, Claimed by Shadow by Karen Chance, Atlantis Rising by Alyssa Day, Wild Thing Anthology by Maggie Shayne et al, Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward, Into the Darkness by Delilah Devlin, Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian, Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead, Demon’s Delight Anthology by MaryJanice Davidson et al, Moonshine by Rob Thurman, Deadly Game by Christine Feehan (yes, I know it comes out this month) and Blood Secrets by Vivi Anna.
Mind you, I haven’t counted the craft books that I want to pick up. There are three right now. Sigh. Must write more books so that I can afford to buy more books.

“Afford”?
Hmmm. “Afford”. That’s a strange, new word to me. Will have to check into it.
by raine February 27th, 2007 at 12:25 amI can help you, Jordan. You absolutely must add Vicki Pettersson’s The Scent Of Shadows to your list, Jordan. Urban fantasy, and fabulous. Correction: I can help you, right into the poorhouse. LOL.
by May February 27th, 2007 at 3:09 am*chanting* It’s tax deductible, it’s tax deductible.
Oh, hell, it’s cheaper than therapy.
by Charli February 27th, 2007 at 7:40 amI just realized. I have a new book in print. It kind of slipped my mind because it’s in the EC warehouse but hasn’t shown up on Amazon or anything get. But anybody who isn’t broke enough buying books in March and April can buy Catalyst!
by Charli February 27th, 2007 at 9:04 amOh Great, Charli, like we didn’t have enough amazing books to put on our lists!! *adds Catalyst to huge must have books list*
by Vivi Anna February 27th, 2007 at 10:24 amI’ve got Scent of Shadows, For a Few Demons More, Forbidden City by Alex Archer, The Jericho Pact by Rachel Lee, Into the Darkness by Delilah, Pleasures of the Night by Sylvia Day (I’ve had the pleasure of reading this…it rocks!) and a ton more that I know is going to send me with Jordan to the poorhouse.
I know what you mean. My to buy list is insane.
by Julia February 27th, 2007 at 10:29 amLOL I’m saving money to buy a bunch at RT. Hopefully if enough of my own sell, I’ll break even .. sort of… LOl
by Sasha February 27th, 2007 at 7:40 pmRaine, LOL! I’ll mail you a dictionary.
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:02 pmMay, I’ve read it.
I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy. Maybe I’ll discuss her book tomorrow. If you like urban fantasy with a graphic novel twist, then you’ll love Vicki’s work.
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:03 pmCharli, I wish it was all tax deductable. That would rock.
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:04 pmCongrats on the new release, Charli.
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:04 pmVivi, There’s plenty of room. I forgot about Syl’s book. Sigh.
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:05 pmJulie, I have to read a few to make room for the new ones. *ggg*
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:05 pmSasha, See I’m so bad. I try to not bring very many books back from RT. I hate shipping them. *ggg* But I hear you on breaking even.
by Jordan February 27th, 2007 at 11:06 pmJordan, I got an early copy of Vicki’s book too. That’s why I’m recommending it. LOL.
by May February 28th, 2007 at 6:28 amMoonshine by Rob Thurman
I can’t wait for this one! LOVED the first book!
The rest of the list looks great too! I think my CC is cringing.

by Jordan February 28th, 2007 at 5:02 pmMandy, Me too. I love Rob Thurman’s stuff. I’m trying to savor Patricia Brigg’s Blood Bound right now. I don’t want it to end. Sigh.
by Jordan February 28th, 2007 at 5:03 pmWelcome back from Japan! (Yes, I’m behind, but I’ve been in my writing cave)
I have SO many books to buy this year. Absolute must haves. I can’t wait for Steph Tyler’s Coming Undone (I’m staying up late tonight to get it as soon as it goes on sale at eharlequin *g*) Jaci Burton’s May Berkley release. The first Sydney Croft book out in September. Charli’s Wild Wild West this summer. These are just the ones off the top of my head. I have a document with all the titles I want somewhere on my hard drive lol
