This has nothing to do with this post, but I had to tell you - I had this incredible Tokyo dream last night that I know is totally because of you. My friend and I went to this really inexpensive Tokyo hotel where the rooms were actually shelves cut out of a mountain. In another room, there was a huge wall of different kinds and sizes of silk pajamas, all hung up till they were out of sight on the wall. Oh, and we were late for a tea ceremony. But my friend decided she wanted to stay in a lux hotel, so we went to this other place, and then I was in your Tokyo bathroom! (well, the weird dream version of it). Too cool.

Raine, I love eyes too. And mouths. Of course, I think kissing is one of the sexiest things on the planet that you can do.

Vivi, I understand. There are several actors that I think are handsome, but very few hit me on a viseral level. Strangely, Daniel Craig did and he's actually not a handsome guy. I also like tall men, mainly because I want to be able to wear heels. *ggg*

Jaq, I've liked and dated all different types too. For the longest time I was drawn to people more confident and talented than I am. I guess I thought it would rub off. *ggg* That changed with my last boyfriend. I decided I wanted something completely different. I threw all my preconceived notions about what I was and was not attracted to out. I definitely go for the intelligent funny men. Probably why I married my husband. He's scary smart and constantly makes me laugh, which I think is the sexiest thing ever.

Maybe it's some kind of chemical reaction or something, lol. I've met gorgeous men who did nothing for me--and other men who'll send a shiver of attraction down my back, and my friends would say, "you like HIM?!"<p>I like beautiful eyes, a charming smile, dry wit. He should be smart (which may have nothing to do with his level of education, btw). Strong arms, nice hands, chest hair are attractive. Not loud or boisterous (BIG turn off), and must not take himself, or life, too seriously.</p>Have I been attracted to men who had none of these attributes?<p>You betcha. Go figure. ;-)</p>

Yep. World of difference between "handsome" and "does it for me". The things that most attract me to my husband have very little to do with looks and much more to do with character. And sense of humor. And the fact that he thinks I'm a brilliant writer and a great person. *g* Of course, his big shoulders, cleft chin, leather jacket and Harley did not hurt the impression he made on me at all...

I hear you Jordan. They are two different things. Take Brad Pitt for example....he's very attractive...but I feel nothing looking at him. Zilch. Not even a small flutter. But Joaquin Phoenix or Viggo Mortensen and I'm zinging big time. Sometimes its painful just looking at them and never being able to touch. LOL
<br>
<br>
There was this beautiful Japanese man that used to come into the bookstore I worked at. My God, he was angelic looking, yet I felt nothing. But I saw this other Asian man in the bank, he was stunning too, and oh yeah, I felt the flutters. It's weird but I think it does come down to subconscious natural preferences. For example tall men make me flutter...they don't have to even be that physically attractive, but being around a tall man does something to me inside and sends signals to my brain that in turn releases pheromones and I'm attracted. Same with a man that can make me laugh...do you notice comedians dont' need to be attractive to get hot women. It's because laughing again releases something inside our bodies and we flutter...LOL
