I will be sparse over the next few days. I’m in the middle of edits and want to get them finished by Thursday. While I’m gone you guys should check out this REALLY cool home show called Holmes on Homes. I heart Mike Holmes. The show is great, even though after watching him I doubt I’ll ever trust a contractor.

Oh, we love that show! You’re right, I’ll never trust a contractor again after seeing some of the shoddy jobs, even when customers try to protect themselves. Ugh. Good luck with those edits!

They all say the same thing about picking out a contractor: they have to have licenses and be bonded by the State (here in the US). If they’re not computer literate with designing estimates and proposals, the job will be hit and miss. Lastly, avoid hiring contractors who show up in wife beater t-shirts and overalls.
