It’s been a LONG week. I am so ready for the weekend. I’ve been re-charting my book, using PBW’s outlining technique. I should finish today. I have to go back in a re-adjust a chapter because I realized something was missing. It shouldn’t take too long.
Still no news on the house. It’s really up in the air. It could go either way. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.
There are a ‘couple’ of books that I’m really looking forward to in the next week or so. I can’t wait to get my hands on 20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill et al, No Rest for the Witches by Chey McCray and Christine Warren et al, An Ice Cold Grave by Charlaine Harris, and Servant: The Awakening by L.L. Foster (ie Lori Foster). What books are you looking forward to next month?

Oh, you would mention new books when my TBR pile is groaning. My goal is to get caught up before buying (many) new books. Quit laughing, it could happen…
by Charli September 21st, 2007 at 12:58 pmCharli, *ggg* I’m not saying anything.
by Jordan September 21st, 2007 at 1:02 pmServant: The Awakening by L.L. Foster is one I’m really forward to as well!
by Mandy M. Roth September 21st, 2007 at 3:31 pmHi Jordan!
lol, looks like I’m chasing Mandy around blogland.
I agree, I can’t wait to read Lori’s LL stuff.
by Michelle M Pillow September 21st, 2007 at 3:33 pmI’ve spent my budget on opera DVDs already. They’re me newest obsession.
But I think I’ll sneak Colleen McCullough’s Anthony and Cleopatra in somehow.
by Gabriele September 21st, 2007 at 3:39 pmI have my fingers crossed, Jordan!
by Sarah McCarty September 21st, 2007 at 3:51 pmWe’re about to get onto the buying-a-house merry-go-around as well. *sigh* Best of luck, Jordan.
by Kaz Augustin September 21st, 2007 at 7:22 pmI enjoyed your link to outlining. It reminded me of when I taught my kids how to outline, and they hated it. Even though both of them admitted how much easier the report was if they outlined first, they still hated it. Now, when I start using an outline for a book instead of just writing, I hate it.
by BernardL September 22nd, 2007 at 7:36 amLL Foster’s book. :OP Surprise surprise
by shiloh walker September 23rd, 2007 at 5:18 amMandy, I think a lot of people are waiting to see what Lori can do in the urban fantasy realm.
by Jordan September 23rd, 2007 at 8:30 pmHi Michelle.
Chase away.
by Jordan September 23rd, 2007 at 8:30 pmGabriele, Hey, at least they’re enjoyable.
I’m sure you’ll manage to budget.
by Jordan September 23rd, 2007 at 8:32 pmThank you, Sarah.
by Jordan September 23rd, 2007 at 8:32 pmKaz, Thanks! And good luck to you too.
by Jordan September 23rd, 2007 at 8:33 pmBernard, I used to hate it too. (in school and out;) Over the last couple of years though it’s become a necessity. My books have too much going on to keep track of in my head.
by Jordan September 23rd, 2007 at 8:34 pmShiloh, *ggg*
