We’ve been in the house since Wednesday. (Dh wanted to make sure that they weren’t going to take the keys away from us.;) The movers are almost finished loading up the old place and should be on their way soon to our new digs. We’ve gone from living on one floor to having three floors of house. The stairs are kicking our butts. Here’s hoping they make them a little smaller while they’re at it. *ggg*
I’m looking so forward to putting the office together so that I can have my computer back. Is it wrong to miss it so? (wg) Other than the move, I have no new news. Tonight we’re going to get a X-mas tree. We’ve invited friends over tomorrow. I figure all we have to get together is the kitchen and livingroom. Shouldn’t be too bad…says the overly ambitious doofus.
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. I’ll write again once my machine is up and running.

No need to buy a stairmaster I guess. I loathe unpacking and don’t envoy you having to do a whole house during the holiday season no less. Good Luck!!!
by Michelle December 8th, 2007 at 5:50 pmCongratulations on the move, Jordan. A very exciting time! And just in time to spend the holidays in your new home. Wishing you many years of happiness!
by Beth Ciotta December 9th, 2007 at 4:16 pmOh, the stairs will shape you up! Hope you’re enjoying the house, the tree, and have your computer back soon.
by Charli December 9th, 2007 at 6:44 pmCongratulations, Jordan (& Hubby)! We had a very steep two flight walk up with our old apartment, so the stairs in this house are a piece of cake.
But I often thought the old staircase was the reason I was in half decent shape lugging groceries and laundry up and down them.

by Saskia December 10th, 2007 at 4:55 amMichelle, Nope, no stairmaster needed. *ggg* The unpacking is coming along slowly. Dh and I have managed the livingroom and dining room and kitchen. All that’s left is to get new bookshelves, then we can take everything in the office out of their boxes. Oh…and there are the two bedrooms too. Doh!
by Jordan December 10th, 2007 at 4:50 pmBeth, Thank you! It’s going to be nice to spend the holidays in the new house. We even have friends coming over on X-mas eve to cook dinner. How great is that?
by Jordan December 10th, 2007 at 4:52 pmCharli, I’m definitely enjoying having my computer back. It would be even better if I could stay home long enough to make use of it. I guess that will have to be next week.
by Jordan December 10th, 2007 at 4:52 pmVanessa, Thanks!
You know I think you might be right about the stairs whipping you into shape. I can ‘REALLY’ feel the muscles in my legs and bottom. *ggg*
by Jordan December 10th, 2007 at 4:53 pmSaskia, Thank you!!!
