It’s a plague among writers, evidently — this past weekend we had to replace a coupling on the garage door opener and the rug beater belt on the vacuum cleaner; both blew apart within 30 minutes of each other.

LOL! Well the door turned out to be the wrong size, so they’ll be back tomorrow to put it in, but at least we now have a window shade.

Must be the day for house repairs. The guy came this morning to replace the dishwasher and fix the leak under the kitchen sink. Yay!
