Lynn, That would help a lot. I haven't seen many of them and the ones that I have seen were not the best quality---that includes ones I did years ago.

Suzanne, Movies are great. I wish we went that often. For a while we were, then somehow we got behind.

It's a sticker that goes inside an author's book that they sign when they can't be somewhere in person.

I've got one bookplate I did myself for a bookseller that we both thought came out well -- I printed it out on sheets of large black adhesive labels and signed them so all the bookseller had to do was peel them off and stick them in the book. I also managed to fit the titles of my series backlist on it as it was for book five or six or something. I'll see if I can find it and send you the .jpg, Jordan.

I love going to the movies at the cinema. I go every week rain or shine, get my diet coke and choc dip ice cream then settle back before the big screen. I get so inspired.

By the way, what's a bookplate? Sorry for the ignorance?

Amie, Thanks! I'll look into it. I'm probably going to go the Avery blank version with my book cover jpg on it. Hopefully that will look okay.

Here's a thought....do the avery, save the file on a thumb drive and take it to Kinkos where they have those really nice color laser printers. Not sure if that would totally work but it might be worth a shot.

I've honestly never seen any. I do know you can order some blank ones from Friendly Spirit (just google them).

Charli, I've done the same thing in the past and they look pretty bad. I'm going to see if they have any higher end stock this weekend.

I've printed bookplates on Avery labels, and I gotta say there has to be a better way. You can't cut the suckers apart in any sort of way that doesn't look ridiculous.

So I'll be camping out here looking for advice.
