I’m Not Here Today

You can find me at Romancing the Blog.

Also for your viewing pleasure, Tor has put up the original artwork to RED by Christian McGrath. I saw this when I was in New York in March. It looks even better in person. He’s incredibly talented. I’m praying that he gets to do the rest of the covers in the series. Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed. What do you guys think?

Hope everyone has a safe Fourth of July (if you’re in the states). If you’re outside of the states, then have a great weekend.

  1. The book cover looks wonderful. Have a great 4th, and fun with your pizza pals tomorrow.

  2. Catherine, Thank you! I love it. We will. You have a great one, too. I’m sure that city of yours will put on a good show. :)

  3. I have always loved your cover for RED. I went in and saw some of his other work. He is indeed very talented.
I’m off on this rainy winter’s day to finally see Kung Fu.

  4. Suzanne, Yes, Mr. McGrath is one of my favorite cover artists working today. There are a couple of others that I love, too, but his work is so easy to identify. Enjoy the movie. :)

  5. Beautiful art. Can’t wait to see the covers for the next two books! We’re having a nice, laid-back weekend. Kids wore themselves out splashing in the wading pool and running around at the grandparents’ and slept through all the fireworks noise, heh.

    Today, Hancock!

  6. Charli, Yes, he’s an amazing artist. Me too. I’ll be very curious to see what happens with the next two covers. Of course, they could always use that art if they wanted to. *g* ;)

Sounds like you had a nice 4th. Enjoy Hancock! Can’t wait to hear what you think. :)

  7. Oh, how cool. The guy’s got some serious talent.

  8. OK, Hancock is a buy on DVD movie so I can watch it again and again. And I hope they are making a sequel! Loved it. Made me laugh, made me sniffle.

  9. Shiloh, I know. Isn’t he terrific?!

  10. Charli, You’re the second person who has told me it made them sniffle toward the end. Thanks for letting me know.
