As you can see, I’ve watched more of these than I’ve read. I should probably remedy that soon. I’m going to tag Vivi, Sasha, Amie, Bernard and Suzanne. You can thank me later. *ggg*

You haven’t seen Lifeforce? Go. Rent. On The Puppet Masters, stick to the book.
Not doing this meme ‘coz I’ve seen and/or read all but a handful and it’d take too long to mark it up.
by Charli August 20th, 2008 at 2:58 pmI’m ashamed to say that I’ve only read AND seen two of these!
by Ames August 20th, 2008 at 3:06 pmCharli, No, I haven’t…I don’t think. I saw some vampire in space movie on the Sci-fi channel, but I have no idea what the title was.
LOL, cheater. *g*
by Jordan Summers August 20th, 2008 at 3:31 pmAmie, I kind of felt that way, too, when I saw the list. Then I realized I did see a lot of the movies. I would’ve probably picked a few different movies, if I was doing a personal list.
by Jordan Summers August 20th, 2008 at 3:32 pmI’m a freak. I’ve seen most of them, and read half. Solaris was nearly unwatchable. Even Ms. Snark must have had a hard time watching Clooney in that one.
by BernardL August 20th, 2008 at 3:51 pmBernard, Not a freak, just a man. *ggg* As for Solaris, darn, I wanted to see that one.
by Jordan Summers August 20th, 2008 at 8:08 pmI must disagree with Bernard, Solaris is stunning. But it helps if you’ve read The God Particle (nonfiction, physics) which explains the Higgs Boson.
by Charli August 20th, 2008 at 10:16 pmCharli, Now I’m going to have to watch it. I’ll look up the theory you’re referring to before I do.
by Jordan Summers August 20th, 2008 at 11:14 pmHave to agree with Bernard on this one. Solaris sucked big time. Maybe I would have liked it more if I’d read the book.
You should rent The Mothman Prophecies. It was an underrated film (IMO). Maybe I’ll look up the book.
by Toni August 21st, 2008 at 1:05 amOkay, I posted mine. And uhmm I’m a bit embarassed about how many I read.
by Sasha August 21st, 2008 at 2:46 amToni I totally agree on The Mothman Prophecies! I loved it but I love me some weird sh*t LOL
Charli ur scarin me
PS Mine’s up
by Amie August 21st, 2008 at 9:44 amToni, Okay, now I’m torn about Solaris.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about The Mothman Prophecies. I watched a few minutes of it when it was on television, but grew concerned that it may scare the crap out of me, so I turned it off. *ggg*
by Jordan Summers August 21st, 2008 at 12:13 pmSasha, You and me both. If it weren’t for Michael C., I’d be in trouble on the reading front.
by Jordan Summers August 21st, 2008 at 12:13 pmAmie, I love bad monster movies, so that should give you an indication of where I’m at on the movie watching scale. I luck out and catch a good one or two along the way, but for the most part they’re pretty bad…just the way I like them.
by Jordan Summers August 21st, 2008 at 12:15 pmThe Mothman Prophecies is a movie I enjoyed, and if I found the book I’d still read it. I think the book would be way better.
by Sasha August 21st, 2008 at 12:15 pmI have mine up. I’ve suprisingly read more books that were made into movies than I first thought. Any King story or Philip K Dick made into a movie, I’ve read it.
by Vivi Anna August 21st, 2008 at 12:21 pmSasha, The books normally are better. The thing that throws me off is if they significantly change the movie and I try to read the book. It’s like getting two completely different stories.
by Jordan Summers August 21st, 2008 at 12:56 pmVivi, That’s cool. I’ll come check it out.
by Jordan Summers August 21st, 2008 at 12:57 pmJordan MM is scary-weird not scary-scary for whatever that’s worth.
by Amie August 22nd, 2008 at 12:01 pmAmie, Oh okay, good. I tend to avoid the scary-scary kinds of movies. I only like to be a ‘little’ scared.
by Jordan Summers August 22nd, 2008 at 12:26 pmI noticed from this meme that a lot of folks have seen The Incredible Shrinking Woman. I came across it on cable last fall and holy toledo is that film unwatchable now. I really wanted to finish it, but it was just so horrific. I can’t even recommend it as a “good bad” movie.
Anyway, you’re a sport for playing, Jordan!
by Heather August 24th, 2008 at 10:09 pmHeather, I haven’t seen that movie in a VERY long time. I tend to watch things like the original Blob and the Forbidden Planet a lot.
No worries. It was fun.
