Heading For The Halfway Point of Slammed

The edits are coming along. Slower than I’d like, but they are moving. I should hit the halfway point by tomorrow. Hopefully I can finish the first round edits by this weekend at the lates. I need to do a final read-through before I email the book to Tor. It will get done on time come hell or high water.

Dh and I tried to get to the movies this weekend. Unfortunately, the day we arrived at the theater the line was SUPER long. A rarity for our favorite theater. We’d gone to see Tropic Thunder. We decided we’d try again this week. Probably tomorrow. We’re also going to catch the Dark Knight one more time at the theater before it leaves. We’ll do that this week, too. Has anyone watched Tropic Thunder? If so, what did you think? Are you going to go see Babylon A.D.? I’m still trying to decide. I like the fact it’s a futuristic movie, but I haven’t heard much about it.

I promise I’ll get back to blogging regularly once this book is turned in. Work first. Play later. Ciao!

  1. I’ll kept Tropic Thunder as a renter I think, but I’m excited to see Babylon A.D. *grin*

Death Race with Jason Statham is another one I can’t wait for. It starts this weekend!

  2. Sasha, I just want to see Robert Downey Jr. I hear he’s hilarious in it. 🙂

  3. Babylon AD looks full of win. 😀

I may abandon my blog until my book’s done myself. I don’t have much to say. I’m muttering to myself about plot points and arcs and there’s only so much of that you can inflict on a defenceless public.

  4. Jordan, do you print a hard copy after each edit for the read through?

  5. Hi Jordan, Life just gets in the way with writers. 😆 I want to see TROPIC THUNDER too, but don’t know when. Good luck with your edits. BTW, the evil Auntie Frannie has tagged you on my site. 😈 Take care.

  6. Charli, LOL, I feel the same way. I keep thinking, didn’t you write an entry like that recently? *ggg*

  7. Bernard, Yes, I edit on hard copy and I print a final up to read through it because I can’t catch as many things reading on the screen.

  8. Frances, That’s mean. *ggg*

  9. 😈 I know.

  10. 😆
