Yep, they’re here for book two, Scarlet in the Dead World series. I’m told book three, Crimson’s edits will arrive at the end of the month. I’m actually looking forward to digging in and getting them finished. I’m ready to work on new projects. Such is the life of the writer. Always in search of the next mental adventure.
It looks like I’ll have a few dentist appointments in my future…unfortunately. At least it isn’t as bad as I thought.
I’m currently listening to a walking tour of Paris. The neighborhood we’ll be staying in to be exact. It’s actually fascinating. I can’t wait to take the walk for real. A friend gave me a writer’s book of Paris. I think it’s time to break it out again.
Today, we’re off to the Botanical Garden. It’s a nice day. The weather is cooler. Should be a good time. Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Happy to hear your edits have arrived Jordan! I’m sure you will come up with some great ideas for future projects.
Enjoy your trip to the Botanical Garden. It’s a beautiful day here too.
I stopped procrastinating and finally got my blog up. Still tweeking things a bit but enjoying it so far.
You have a great weekend too.

by Soleil Noir October 11th, 2008 at 3:01 pmWoot for the end of edits and Paris! What a wonderful place to walk.
by Charli October 12th, 2008 at 7:47 amI had my semi-annual dental check-up torture session yesterday. To this day, the scene in ‘Marathon Man’ where Lawrence Olivier drills Dustin Hoffman’s teeth as a way to torture Hoffman into revealing secrets is still my personal vote for most horrific.
Good luck with the edits.
by BernardL October 12th, 2008 at 9:41 amLea, Congrats on the blog. It takes a while. Mine is still a work in progress.
The garden was nice. We walked around quite a bit yesterday, then ended up at the bookstore. Yep, some things never change. *ggg*
The edits will definitely be tackled and finished by this week, then it’s onto the new projects.

by Jordan Summers October 12th, 2008 at 12:14 pmBernard, I agree. That is one of the scariest scenes in a movie. I saw it years ago and it’s stayed with me.
Thanks!
