Looks like I’ll be signing advanced bound copies of CRIMSON at BEA in New York this year on Friday May 29th. If you’re in the city, stop by and say hi. Bound copies aren’t the same as ARC’s. ARC’s have been edited at least once. I’m excited to be signing, even though the final version of CRIMSON is VERY different from the bound copies. Hopefully I can get some business done while I’m there.

As an aside, I think it’s extremely important for published authors to make regular trips (ie once a year) to New York. I never thought it mattered, until I went to the Novelist Inc. conference last year. Face time with your editors and agent really make a HUGE difference in your working relationships. Make the trip if you can.

  1. And we haven’t even seen the Crimson cover yet! Hopefully you’ll share when the Big Wigs let you 😉

  2. Tez, It’s pretty rocking, especially the hero Morgan. Hawt! I will put it up as soon as I’m allowed. *g*

  3. Woot for BEA and Crimson! Ah, NY. I would like to get there again sometime soon.

  4. Charli, Yes, it’s well worth it.

  5. If I thought for a second I could get up to the city to meet you I would. Unfortunately there is that pesky thing called a job that never quits. Le sigh, I’ll be thinking of you though and yayayayayay for you signing books and getting out there.

  6. I’ve heard May is a very nice month in New York for the weather. I hope you get a lot of stop by seekers.

  7. Shannon, Hate it when the day job gets in the way of the social life. 😉

  8. Bernard, It should be pretty good. Thank you. Here’s hoping. 🙂
