Now The Hard Part Begins

I finally watched the episode of Warehouse 13. It was different than I anticipated. The banter is a little X-files, but that’s about it. I did think the show was cute though. I’ll end up watching it. Tonight Eureka premieres. I love that show. It’s quirky like Northern Exposure used to be. I bought the True Blood DVD’s, so I plan to watch the first season over the weekend and coming week. I also bought the Blade series. I watched it when it was on and didn’t care much for the main character (ie Blade), but I really liked the secondary characters. And I’m finally going to break down and watch Twilight. I haven’t seen it yet. Please hold off throwing tomatoes at me. Can you tell I’m in a vampire mood?

Today I finally finished researching the YA. Now comes the hard part. Yep, let the writing begin. Gulp.

  1. Good luck with the writing J. I’m sure it will be brilliant.

  2. Thanks V! It’ll get there eventually. ;)

  3. I haven’t seen Twilight yet either, Jordan. There will be no rotten fruit/vegetable throwing from me.

Good luck with the YA writing!

  4. Karin, I’m glad I am not the only one. :)

    Thanks!

  5. Yay for writing. Hope Twilight works for you. I finally rented it a little while ago and gave up halfway through. I just couldn’t take him seriously as a vampire. Not with that hair. And I kept hearing Ben Stiller in my head: “One look?!”

  6. I’m looking forward to Eureka which I taped last night. The main character was horrible in the Blade series. I tried watching it but could not get past his cardboard cutout acting. I haven’t seen Twilight yet either. My son bought it even though he hated the way it was done in comparison to the book. It will be the first thing I’ve ever borrowed from him. :)

  7. Charli, I’m not expecting Robert P. to be like other vampires I’ve seen in movies. The hair doesn’t bother me. I’m more concerned with the dialogue. *g*

  8. Bernard, Eureka was okay. They handled the firing bit pretty well. It was a typical episode.

Blade in the Blade series was pretty bad, but the secondary characters just kept getting better and better. I ended up watching the whole thing because of them. I bought the DVD’s because they said they were the uncut episodes and that they had a lot more violence and sex in them. Let me know what you think of Twilight. I don’t know if I’ll watch it this weekend or during the week, but I’ll put up my review when I’m done.
