Books I’m Looking Forward To

There are so many books getting ready to release (and some that have just released) that I’m looking forward to reading. My short list is: Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl, Tempted by P.C. and Kristin Cast, Just Another Judgement Day by Simon Green, Trick of Light by Rob Thurman, Covet by J.R. Ward, On the Edge by Ilona Andrews, Must Love Hellhounds by Ilona Andrews, Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan, Grave Secret by Charlaine Harris, Dreamfever by Karen Moning, Hot for the Holidays by Angela Knight, Big Bad Wolf by Christine Warren, Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs, Beloved Vampire by Joey Hill, and Heat Seeker by Lora Leigh.

My pocket book is scared. Very scared. 😆

What are you guys looking forward to reading?

  1. Looks like some good ones J..

    I’m looking forward to:

    Cape Storm – Rachel Caine
    Fire – Kristen Cashore
    Cathing Fire – Suzanne Collins
Trick of Light – Rob Thurman
Just Another Judgement Day – Simon Green
Skin Deep – Mark Del Franco
    Doubleblind – Ann Aguirre
    The Hollow – Jessica Verday
Destined for An Early Grave – Jeaniene Frost
    Fade Out – Rachel Caine
My Soul to Take – Rachel Vincent
    Intertwined – Gena Showalter

    Most of those are YA.

  2. Read Dreamfever…LOVED IT
Am reading an ARC of Shadowlight…loving it so far.

    Your own Crimson 🙂
An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon
The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
A Highlander’s Destiny and A Highlander’s Homecoming by Melissa Mayhue
Waiting for #9 and #10 of the Sookie series (by Charlaine Harris) to release in paperback.
Passion Unleashed by Larrisa Ione (I know it released earlier this year but I haven’t got my hands on it yet).

And that’s just my list without pulling up my real list, LOL

  3. Vivi, I’m reading My Soul to Take. I’m really enjoying it. I think Rachel’s YA voice is better than her adult.

  4. Sherri, Thank you! 🙂

I can’t wait to dig into the Karen Moning book. Who wrote Shadowlight?

I hear you on the ‘short’ list. *ggg*

  5. My list looks a lot like your list. And I keep finding “just one more” to add. Like, I am now intrigued by House of Leaves. Not new, but it sounds like a very interesting horror story.

  6. Hmm, that’s interesting about Rachel’s voice. Because I really like her adult books. So I’m thinking I may REALLY dig her YA

  7. Charli, *g* Great taste. 😉 Every time I turn around I find another book to add to the list. Sigh.

  8. Vivi, I’m actually going to be curious to see which one people glom onto. I know her shifter adult books are doing well, but I really love the YA.

  9. LOL, you have it in your own list Jordan.

Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl…I’m part of her e-ARC experiment.

I’ve got an excel spreadsheet with Books to watch for, TBR, and Read tabs. I’ve got over 200 on the Watch for list, LOL

  10. Sherri, Doh! 😆 Just ignore me.

    Wow! That is organized.

  11. hmmmmmm some of the same ones on your list actually are on mine as well.

Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl, Just Another Judgement Day by Simon Green, Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan, Grave Secret by Charlaine Harris, Hot for the Holidays by Angela Knight, Big Bad Wolf by Christine Warren, oh and Crimson of course, LKH’s new one in Dec, and the new J D Robb in Nov.

Hunting Ground is already on the way here from amazon.

  12. Tammy, I’m so far behind on the Robb series and LKH that I have at least ten books to read before I get any of their new ones. 😳

Patricia Briggs is one of my favorite authors and I still haven’t managed to read Iron Kissed yet or the one after that. I did however buy them. *g*
