One Of Those Days…

I’ve been furiously working away on UF edits. They’ve turned out to be more intensive than I’d anticipated. I’m at the point where I can’t see the forest through the trees.

I received ARC’s for Crimson the other day. Unfortunately, there’s been a teeny tiny mistake made. They’re listed as Young Adult on the back cover. :-O Yeah, can’t wait to see those reviews. Head hits wall repeatedly. I plan to mail them out next week…after I get a marker/sticker strong enough to cover the problem.

The novella for the Mammoth Book of Special Ops Romances is finished. I still need to send it off, but that won’t take but a minute.

I’m looking forward to the return of the Fall television season. They keep shortening my summer favorites like Psych and Eureka. Although I have REALLY enjoyed Being Human on BBC America. I missed the beginning of the final season of Robin Hood. I get a feeling I’m going to have to get them on DVD, if the reviews say they’re worth it. What show are you looking forward to?

Don’t mind the banging. It’s only my head.

  1. YA?!? O.o Hmm…

    But, ARCs? Yay!!

  2. The only show I’m really looking forward to is Dexter.

Oh and Mythbusters. Love me some Adam and Jamie. My dd and I watch them every day.

  3. Young Adult?? Oh my…

  4. Oh! Wow! Special Ops has cover! Shiny.

I dunno that I’m looking forward to any shows. I might actually watch some TV this year, though. We got cable with internet.

  5. YA…did they read it? LOL

I don’t get enough TV time to worry about it too much but I did get attached to Being Human and am missing it 🙁

  6. The Mentalist and NCIS are the two I’m most looking forward too, although Fringe is close.

  7. Karen, Yeah, I’m excited to have ARC’s, but I’m definitely praying no YA site gets their hands on them.

  8. Vivi, Mythbusters is a cool show. Definitely interesting how they challenge myths and urban legends.

  9. You said it, Jackie. 🙁

  10. Sherri, LMAO! No comment. *ggg*

I’m still working my way through the episodes. I have four more to go before this season ends. I’m just glad that they’re coming out with a second season of Being Human next year. I believe it’s filming now. Can’t wait. 🙂 I know there’s talk of making it into a US show, but it’ll lose lot in ‘translation’. 😉

  11. Bernard, I’m looking forward to all those shows and Bones, Criminal Minds (especially after that season ender), Castle, and two new shows, The Forgotten and Flash Forward.

  12. Charli, It is a pretty cover. I like it. 🙂

  13. Well you know I wouldn’t have any problems reading a Crimson ARC with Young Adult on the back cover — I would be sure to tell everyone about it.. I am just say if you have a spare 🙂

I am looking forward to NCIS and NCIS LA. Dying to find out about the Ziva thing. I also can’t wait for Fringe and the Mentalist – oh and BONES. I think I covered pretty much everything.

  14. Marnie, LOL!

The only show I’m not sure about is NCIS L.A. I like the actors, but I don’t know if I’ll dig the show after watching the lead in last season. We’ll have to wait and see. 🙂

  15. Oh my! That is quite a little oops, Jordan. I can totally imagine the looks on the faces of someone expecting YA and then reading it. It totally makes me laugh.

Good luck with the edits and congratulations on getting the novella done!

  16. Karin, Yep, it’s quite an oops. Yeah, I can imagine their faces, too. I’d think it was a lot funnier if I wasn’t writing a YA right now. :/

Thank you! I’ll be finishing the first round of edits today, then I’ll have to run through the book one more time before releasing it into the wild. *g*

  17. Jordan, your YA will be fantastic. I have no doubt of that. It’s just the expectation of a YA when a book is not that would make the expressions funny. Of course, it makes it funnier for me imagining other possible mislabelings and reactions…

  18. Thanks Karin! Yes, it would be funny. 🙂
