Gennita, He jokes that I only married him for tech support. LOL! I took a quick look at it. More than anything it looks time consuming. I do think you're right about a few folks trying it with backlist items. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Thanks, Jordan, I'd love to know what you and your live-in puter specialist ;-) think. I'm stupid, so it probably is very VERY easy. And yeah, I'd love to learn to do it because hey, with the new Harlequin announcement, I think self-publishing romances is going to be the next Big Thing ;-). //tongue-in-cheek

Gennita, I'm going to have to take a look at the instructions. I'm hoping since I live with a computer specialist/programmer, I'll have help if I need it. I'll let you know what I find out. Diversity is definitely the key. And you have to enjoy it or it's time to take a break.

I've been doing that too, although Amazon's instructions to get my ms ready for their Kindle stumped me. That's why my self-pub isn't on Kindle. Also doing e-books and thinking of self-pub again because the numbers were pretty good for me (but nothing to cheer about either). The most important thing is to still enjoy creating and writing.

Bernard, That's why I think it really needs to be spread out. A little of this, a little of that, etc.

I like your idea about diversifying. The rough part is always the sales venue.

You said it. Diversification, and being ready to jump on opportunity. Happy writing/editing!
