I have grocery shopping to do, but I thought I’d leave you with a couple of links. The first comes from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. The second is from John Scalzi. His entry cracks me up.

I enjoyed reading scalzi’s blog, definitely.
Some of the commenters’ snotty attitude to romance? Not so much, but I’m used to see it.

by Shiloh Walker November 21st, 2009 at 8:37 amI think Mr. Scalzi covered the downside pretty well. I also think after all the instant lash out on the internet against Big H, if a writer decides to self-publish through Horizons, they really can’t say they’ve been duped.
by BernardL November 21st, 2009 at 9:15 amShiloh, I didn’t read the comments, but I’m not surprised that people are taking the opportunity to put a dig in at romance. When one is not clever one tends to display ignorance.
