Shiloh, I didn’t read the comments, but I’m not surprised that people are taking the opportunity to put a dig in at romance. When one is not clever one tends to display ignorance.

I think Mr. Scalzi covered the downside pretty well. I also think after all the instant lash out on the internet against Big H, if a writer decides to self-publish through Horizons, they really can’t say they’ve been duped.
