Vivi, I think I may have to skip ahead and read the last book in the series. I'm curious how a vampire whose blood flow is so bad that he feels like frozen marble can procreate.

LOL, enjoy the movie. I may go see it if I can manage to rent Twilight in time.

Bernard, Don't I know it. Fortunately, I'm a good stress writer (ie I become very creative when I'm under a lot of pressure.). *g* I've already finished the first chapter. I'm almost done plotting the second chapter. Now I just have to figure out how the good guy discovers who is behind the murders and dispatches him. *g*

I liked the article, too. I thought it was very well done. I'm not surprised that the publisher banned him. I've had that happen on an agent blog, so it's nothing new. You're absolutely right. The key is building your name through a publishers first, then going that route. We'll see what Mr. Mayer decides to do next. He has the survival skills, so it should be interesting.

Yeah I read Twilight. It was okay, I totally got the allure, but had no interest in reading the others.

I enjoyed the movie more. And am looking forward to seeing New Moon...just so I can be a perv and ogle Jacob.

Dec 1st is an eye blink away, my friend. :) Mr. Mayer's article was terrific. I'm surprised the other publisher banned his comments. If publishers refuse to promote the books they publish, it's not much different than self-publishing your own book where an author is stuck with all aspects of promotion.
