Thought This Was Pretty Cool

Ellen Fisher wrote a blog about how she was able to pay her mortgage with her ebook sales for the last couple of months. Very cool!

I’m not sure what I’d do if I could pay our mortgage with my ebook sales. (And yes, I realize it’ll take a lot more books to come close to doing that, but a girl can dream.:) Today, I did a little bit of everything. I worked on formatting Gothic Passions. Hopefully I got it right. If I did, then within the next few days I’m going to put it in the queue to publish. Rose’s Rapture (the follow up to Gothic Passions) will be released in four weeks. I’m shooting for a four/five week release schedule since I have a lot of books to re-release. We’ll see if it works like planned. *ggg I also did exciting things like workout and laundry. I know you’re jealous. To make sure you stay pea green, you should know that I also vacuumed. You heard me. I vacuumed. Top that. (Crosses arms and nods.) 😉

  1. LOL! I don’t want to top your vacuuming skillage. *ggg*

I’m enjoying watching you go for it. Go Jordan, go! I may be asking questions in the not to distant future. 🙂

  2. Patrice, Not many people can. LOL!

Ask away. Hopefully by then I’ll have some answers. I’m definitely learning as I go. 🙂

  3. I’ve been working on formatting for a couple of days. It’s all effed up. Argh. But I’m keeping at it. I figure you only have to climb the learning curve once.

Oh, and I made a roast. I think that beats vacuuming! At least, it does if you’re hungry and in need of iron. *g*

  4. Charli, I think it’s going to take me a couple of times to get the formatting learning curve tackled. I’m really hoping that once I write EVERYTHING down and go through it one more time I’ll be able to do it without breaking a sweat. Sylvia said that she has it down to thirty minutes now. I’d be happy with an hour. *ggg

I can match that roast, except mine was a lamb shank in a crockpot. 😉

  5. Yeah, well I’m vacuuming tonight… so there… 🙂

Paris After Dark was a great story by the way. I liked how you left it open at the end for a partnership of vampire detectives.

  6. Bernard,

I’m not vacuuming tonight, so you win today. 😉

Thanks, B. I’m glad you liked it. As you might have guessed, I left the ending open in case I wanted to revisit the world of the cleaners in the future. 🙂

  7. Bernard,

Thank you for taking the time to review Paris After Dark. I didn’t see it until a few minutes ago. I really appreciate it. 🙂
