When In Doubt

Still having technical difficulties with The Arrival. I have FINALLY figured out what they are, but it’ll take a few days to get things up and running. I’ve already uploaded the correct versions to Smashwords and Barnes & Noble (though it will take a day or so for it to show up in the latter). I’m waiting for the Amazon site to finish processing the upload, so I can go in and fix it. Yep, I’ll have to upload a new version and wait another few days before it’ll be available. Again, sorry for the delay, but when you’re trying to find an INVISIBLE box in your manuscript, it takes a while. I WILL be checking from now on to make sure it’s not there in the future. What a pain in the butt!

I’ve also lowered the price on my secret project. It’ll remain at .99 cents until the end of the month. Once the results of the experiment are in, then I’ll decide how to proceed. Until then, I have to finish this second round of edits and get to work on another original project. My brain is itching to create.

  1. You know we’ll be trying to find the secret project, right? *g*

Glad you got the invisible box problem corrected. Yes, it takes time to get everything through the process, but once done, you’re done.

Have learned SO much that will make next time easier.

  2. LOL! Yes, I’m sure some of you will. 🙂

What a pain in the butt! I’m glad it’s finally fixed. I’m just waiting for Amazon to let me upload the fixed version.

  3. One of the great things Amazon did was make the editing part easy along with changes in pricing. Do you plan on letting out the secret project information eventually?

  4. Bernard, They’re taking a bit more time than they usually do. I’m really hoping that they get the book up there soon, so I can update it. So far the price change and the manuscript change haven’t been put through on Amazon.

Eventually. 😉 Remember, I’m trying to see what/if any effect a name change has on sales. So far, I haven’t noticed much. We’ll see if the sale price for the rest of the month changes that.
