Battling Sinus Crap

Hey Guys,

Sorry I’ve been fairly quiet. I came down with what I thought was a cold last week, but now I think it’s probably a sinus infection–either that or it’s the weirdest behaving cold EVER. Anyway, I had a quiet week. Didn’t do anything for the 4th other than watch fireworks from my porch.

I am five pages away from finishing my 50 page urban fantasy romance partial. I plan to get that done today, so that I can get started on the new YA fantasy idea that’s been poking at me for the last couple of weeks.

What does that all mean? It means I’ll probably be pretty quiet other than the occasional Tweet until I’m done. Exciting, I know. 🙂 At least I have something to look forward to at the end of the week. Yep, you guessed it, dh and I have tickets for Harry Potter on Friday. I’m packing the tissues now because I know there’s going to be tears.

Are you guys looking forward to seeing HP? If not, what are you looking forward to at the movies? My next up is Cowboys vs. Aliens. Cannot wait.

  1. Best to stay quiet until you find out what kind of virus it is. I’m looking forward to Cowboys and Aliens. I don’t know how the heck they’ll make that plot believable but I have to find out if they do. 🙂

  2. Bernard, LOL! You’re too funny and probably right–though I do think I’m on the mend. 😉

I so cannot wait for Cowboys vs. Aliens. If it’s half as fun as the original Iron Man, I’m sold. 😀

  3. I went to Green lantern yesterday and they had previews for both HP and Cowboys and Aliens. I just know C&A will be awesome. Can’t wait.

HP…watching the preview made me wish I’d kept the books (I donated them all a year or two ago) . I’ll definitely see the movie.

Hope you get your energy back soon!

  4. Sasha, How was Green Lantern. I never made it to see it.

We have all the books…and the movies…*ggg

My energy is fine. I’m still working out, so I know I can’t feel too bad. Just a little sneezy. 😉

  5. I enjoyed it. Love Ryan Reynalds, and thoght they did a greta job building the character and setting the movie franchise up. It did feel a little slow in places, but that might’ve just been antsy me.:)
    I’d give it a 4 out of 5. 😉

  6. Sasha, Cool! I love Ryan Reynolds, too. So funny.

    Good to know. 🙂

  7. Sinus crap sucks. Saline rinse helps a lot, I’m doing that twice a day myself. Must be the season for it or something. I loved Green Lantern, and am really looking forward to Harry Potter and Cowboys, although I have to wait for them to show up at the drive-in. Baby has to eat too often for me to go without her, and drive-in means I can watch and hold her in my lap without disturbing other movie-goers. : D

  8. CAN’T WAIT for Harry Potter.

But Mini V and I are going to wait until Monday and go to a quieter matinee, at least we hope it will be quieter.

  9. Charli, Dh swears by those sinus rinses. I just haven’t been able to do it. Makes me feel like I’m drowning. 🙁

I understand. It shouldn’t take them long to hit the drive-in at all.

  10. Hey Vivi,

I wouldn’t be going if the theater didn’t allow us to reserve our seats. There were already people lining up when I went to see Bad Teacher this afternoon. Crazy stuff.
