There was a lot of this in the early days with epubbing too, and some epubs that didn’t edit well, etc. But I think the same thinking goes back even further, before the tools made it possible, writers just wanting to rush into publication. It comes down to needing to put the work first. Publication and everything else comes after you do the work. I think those who never get that just won’t last long.
